Miami Marlins announce Opening Day and homestand highlights

Marlins to host frontline healthcare heroes from University of Miami Health System on Opening Day; homestand features multiple fan giveaways and single-game ticket offers

MIAMI – Opening Day for the 2021 regular season is on Thursday, April 1, with the Miami Marlins hosting the Tampa Bay Rays. The homestand continues Friday and Saturday, April 2-3, vs. Tampa Bay and concludes with a three-game series against the St. Louis Cardinals on April 5-7. On Opening Day, fans will receive a 2021 Magnet Schedule as well as a lanyard with an Opening Day commemorative ticket. In addition, the Marlins will host frontline healthcare heroes from UHealth-The University of Miami Health System in the AutoNation Alley Deck on Opening Day.

• Entrances to open at 2 p.m.; fans should check their ticket for recommended entry time and gate location.

• Opening Day ceremonies begin at 3 p.m.

• All fans will receive a 2021 Magnet Schedule as well as a lanyard with an Opening Day commemorative ticket.

• Pachanga Band playing around the ballpark.

• Frontline healthcare heroes from UHealth-The University of Miami Health System will enjoy the game from the AutoNation Alley Deck.

The festivities continue throughout the first homestand, with an additional fan giveaway on Saturday, April 3 (Kids Pullover presented UHealth-The University of Miami Health System), and various single-game ticket offers. See details below:

Earlier this month, the Marlins announced the initial single-game ticket offers available for home games through June. A new offer for the 2021 season is Ticket+, which includes a special priced game ticket and food & beverage credit to use at any concession stand of the fan’s choice. In addition, the Marlins will return Salute and Serve Days and Seniors Days. Each Monday, as well as each Friday through at least June, active and retired military personnel, veterans, fire rescue personnel, members of the police department, and health care professionals receive two complimentary tickets. Fans 65 years or older are eligible to receive one complimentary ticket to Thursday home games as well as select Wednesday home games this season, excluding Opening Day.

A limited amount of single-game tickets remains for the first homestand. Vista Level tickets will go on sale today for games on April 2 and April 3 vs. Tampa Bay.
