Mets claim RHP Chris Beck

The New York Mets today announced that the club has claimed RHP Chris Beck off waivers from the Chicago White Sox. He will join the team in Arizona.

FLUSHING, N.Y., June 13, 2018 - The New York Mets today announced that the club has claimed RHP Chris Beck off waivers from the Chicago White Sox. He will join the team in Arizona.
Beck, 27, had one save and a 4.18 ERA (11 earned runs/23.2 innings) in 14 games this season with the White Sox.
The 6-3, 230-pounder was 2-1 with a 6.40 ERA (46 earned runs/64.2 innings) in 57 games for Chicago-AL last season.
He is 4-4 with one save and a 5.94 ERA (79 earned runs/119.2 innings) in 97 major league games from 2015-2018. Beck was the White Sox second-round pick in the 2012 First-Year Player Draft.
