Find answers to some of the common questions asked about the Amazin' Mets Pass.
Q: Which phones are supported?
A: The pass is supported by iPhones, iPod Touch and Android phones. The MLB Ballpark app must also be downloaded for use of the Amazin' Mets Pass.
Note - iOS requires iOS 11.0 and later. Android requires 5.0 and later. iPod Touch must be at least 6th Generation or newer.
Q: Why do I need to use an iPhone, iPod Touch or Android phone?
A: The Amazin' Mets Pass is a mobile-only program integrated with the MLB Ballpark app. There are no printed tickets. Admission to Citi Field will be managed through the app.
Q: Can I purchase the pass if I don't have an iPhone, iPod Touch or Android phone?
A: Not at this time. You will be unable to enter Citi Field.
Q: What happens if a game is rained out?
A: In the event a regulation baseball game (as defined in Official Baseball Rule 7.01) is not played due to weather, an act of God or any other reason, the following Raincheck Policy will apply.
Q: I bought my Amazin' Mets Pass, now what do I do?
A: Follow the steps below.
STEP 1: Download the MLB Ballpark app
- Download the MLB Ballpark app on your iPhone or Android phone, and create or log in with your MLB account. If you already have the app, be sure to download the latest version and keep updating throughout the season. CLICK HERE
STEP 2: Link your account
- Register your Amazin' Mets Pass in the MLB Ballpark app to access your mobile barcodes.
- Open the app on your phone
- Select the Mets as your favorite team
- Tap the gear icon in the top right corner
- Select Ticket Accounts
- Log in using the email address you used to purchase
STEP 3: Locate your Tickets in the Wallet
- All tickets for all games will be located within the Wallet Tab of the MLB Ballpark app - please click on the Wallet Tab and locate all of your tickets for all games. Your barcode will be accessible beginning four (4) hours prior to each game.
Q: How do I get into Citi Field with my Amazin' Mets Pass?
A: Your ticket for each game can be accessed exclusively through the Wallet tab within the MLB Ballpark app and your barcodes for each ticket/game will be available beginning four (4) hours prior to each game. Download the MLB Ballpark app and create (or login to a pre-existing) MLB.com account using the same email address you used to purchase your Amazin' Mets Pass. This will provide you with a digital barcode that you can use to scan for admission into Citi Field.
Q: Am I eligible to receive promotional giveaways with my Amazin' Mets Pass ticket?
A: Yes! With your digital Standing Room ticket, you are able to enter Citi Field as soon as the gates open, and receive a promotional giveaway item at the gate, provided you are eligible based on that giveaway's posted quantity restrictions.
Q: Where can I go with a Standing Room Ticket?
A: Amazin' Mets Pass ticket holders have lots of great destinations available with their Standing Room ticket. Pass holders can gather on the Field Level concourse, the Shea Bridge, Taste of the City and Coca-Cola Corner.
Q: How can I upgrade my Amazin' Mets Pass ticket?
A: You will receive the option to upgrade your Amazin' Mets Pass to a ticketed seat for one (1) Monday-Thursday game per month, subject to availability. To upgrade, login to your My Mets Tickets account and click on the "Special Offers" tab. Upgrades will be available beginning on the day of the first home game of the month included in the plan at 10 a.m. ET. Upgraded tickets for each game can be accessed exclusively through the MLB Ballpark app beginning four (4) hours prior to each game.
Q: Can I sell my pass for games that I do not attend?
A: No, passes may not be resold.
Q: Can I share my pass with someone else?
A: Yes, you can forward your Amazin' Mets Pass to family or friends beginning four (4) hours prior to each game via the MLB Ballpark app. Recipients will need to also access and scan their tickets via the MLB Ballpark app.
Q: How do I renew my Amazin' Mets Pass for the next month?
A: When you purchase the Amazin' Mets Pass, you will be auto-renewed each month. You will be charged $39 on a month by month basis during the 2019 regular season. The charges will be processed for the months of April, May, June, July, August and September.
Q: How do I opt-out of renewing my Amazin' Mets Pass?
A: To cancel your Amazin' Mets Pass, you must notify Ticket Services of such cancellation request by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: When can I opt-out of my Amazin' Mets Pass?
A: You must notify Customer Service of such cancellation request on or before the 20th day of any calendar month in order to cancel your Amazin' Mets Pass effective as of the last day of the same calendar month. Any cancellation request made after the 20th day of a calendar month will result in cancellation of your Amazin' Mets Pass effective as of the last day of the following calendar month.
Digital Ticket Barcode Images
Please note that the barcode area on the digital ticket does not automatically refresh. You can refresh the ticket on your screen with a simple down-swipe, or by tapping on the "Refresh" icon in the middle of the screen. This should refresh and populate the ticket's barcode, as long as it's within 4 hours of game time.
You can forward your Amazin' Mets Pass to family or friends beginning four (4) hours prior to each game via the MLB Ballpark app. Recipients will need to also access and scan their tickets via the MLB Ballpark app.
Guests who exit the ballpark will not be allowed to re-enter. Guests leaving the ballpark for exceptional circumstances may be permitted to re-enter, provided they have received approval from a Security or Guest Service Supervisor before exiting.
