New York Mets players to wear the caps of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School

The New York Mets today announced that the club, in conjunction with all 30 MLB clubs, will wear the caps of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School (MSDHS) baseball team (Stoneman Douglas Eagles) during their Spring Training Home Opener on Friday, February 23 vs. Atlanta at 1:10 p.m. at First Data Field in Port St. Lucie, FL. The Mets will wear the caps during batting practice and during the game.

After the game, Mets players and coaches will sign the caps to be auctioned in support of those affected by the devastating loss of life and impact on the student body and community in Parkland, FL. All proceeds will benefit the official victims fund via the Broward Education Foundation (http://browardedfoundation.org/).
