Bobbleheads, fireworks, Bat Night, Bark at the Park among Seattle Mariners 2015 special events

Single-game tickets on sale Saturday, March 7

Six bobbleheads, four postgame fireworks nights, Nelson Cruz Bat Night, beard hats, and Hisashi Iwakuma "Bear" Hat Night are among the specials events on tap for the 2015 Seattle Mariners season.

Bobbleheads

There are six bobblehead giveaways on the 2015 schedule, including Felix Hernandez in crown and royal robe, and Fernando Rodney launching an imaginary arrow as he notches another save. (First 20,000 fans.)

  • Fernando Rodney (May 9, vs. Oakland Athletics)
  • Kyle Seager (June 2, vs. New York Yankees)
  • Nelson Cruz (July 11, vs. Los Angeles Angels)
  • Jamie Moyer Hall of Fame (August 8, vs, Texas Rangers)
  • Robinson Cano (August 22, vs. Chicago White Sox)

Fireworks

The popular postgame fireworks have been expanded to four nights this season. Themes will include a salute to the 90s and a ballpark-wide sing along.

  • May 29, vs. Cleveland Indians (I Love the 90s)
  • June 19, vs. Houston Astros (Star Wars)
  • July 24, vs. Toronto (Sing Along)
  • August 21, vs. Chicago White Sox (Songs of the Summer)

Hats!

There are five hat giveaways on the calendar including the third annual Beard Hat Night (first 20,000 fans, April 17, vs. Texas Rangers), the return of the popular Mariners fedora (first 20,000 fans, May 15, vs. Boston Red Sox), a tribute to the Negro Leagues Seattle Steelheads (first 20,000 fans, May 16, vs. Boston Red Sox), a Mother's Day sunhat (first 10,000 moms, May 10, vs. Oakland Athletics), and the Hisashi Iwakuma "Bear" Hat (first 20,000 fans, April 25, vs. Minnesota Twins).

The Mariners Express train adds another car this season with the Dustin Ackley "Ack Attack" car (first 20,000 fans, June 6, vs. Tampa Bay Rays) and Bark at the Park returns on July 9 (vs. Los Angeles Angels) with special ticket prices for our four-legged fans and their best friends.

Guys & Girls

There are special ticket prices available for two Guys Nights (April 24, vs. Minnesota Twins; July 10, vs. Los Angeles Angels); two Girls Nights (May 8, vs. Oakland Athletics; August 7, vs. Texas Rangers); and four College Nights (April 17, vs. Texas Rangers; May 15, vs. Boston Red Sox; June 5, vs. Tampa Bay Rays; September 12, vs. Colorado Rockies).

Just for Kids

There are two Salute to Kids Days (April 26 vs. Minnesota Twins and August 23 vs. Chicago White Sox); four Little League Days (May 10, vs. Oakland Athletics; May 17, vs. Boston Red Sox; May 31, vs. Cleveland Indians; June 7, vs. Tampa Bay Rays) and One Youth Baseball Day (June 21, vs. Houston Astros). Nelson Cruz Bat Night is May 30, vs. Cleveland Indians; Kids Appreciation Day closes out the season on October 4 vs. Oakland Athletics.

Ticket Specials

There are numerous opportunities for savings at Safeco Field this season with Family Pack Nights, Family Nights, Senior Sundays, Military specials, and King's Court for Felix Hernandez starts.

Opening Day Tickets Presale

Tickets for Mariners Opening Day on April 6, against the Los Angeles Angels, will be available during a special presale leading up to and during FanFest. There is a limit of eight tickets per account.

  • Mariners season ticket holders -- 12 pm, Thursday, January, 22 (online only)
  • Mariners Mail subscribers, Mariners social media followers, Ticketmaster subscribers -- 12pm, Friday, January 23 (online only)
  • All fans - 10am, Saturday, January 24 until 11:59 p.m., Monday, January 26. (Safeco Field box office, Mariners Team Stores and mariners.com/tickets)

Opening Day tickets will be available again starting Saturday, March 7, when Mariners 2015 single-game tickets go on sale to the public.
