Twins Option Achter; Reassign Five to Minor League Camp

Ft. Myers, FL - The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have optioned right-handed pitcher A.J. Achter to Triple-A Rochester. Additionally, the Twins have reassigned the following players to minor league camp: catcher Tyler Grimes, infielders James Beresford and Jose Martinez, and outfielders Eric Farris and Danny Ortiz.

The Twins now have 35 players in camp (6 non-roster): 16 pitchers (2 non-roster), 5 catchers (2 non-roster), 8 infielders (1 non-roster) and 6 outfielders (1 non-roster).
