Braves outright OF Zoilo Almonte

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - The Atlanta Braves made a move on their spring roster tonight, as outfielder Zoilo Almonte cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Gwinnett. Because he has been outrighted previously, Almonte can elect free agency if he chooses.

Atlanta now has 35 active players remaining in its Major League camp. The Braves begin the 2015 campaign on Monday, April 6, at Miami (4:10 p.m., SportSouth).
