Royals Charities Offers Chance to Win Authentic 2014 ALCS Ring

Fans Can Enter Sweepstakes with a Donation to Royals Charities

KANSAS CITY, MO (April 6, 2015) - The Kansas City Royals announced today that the Club's foundation, Royals Charities, will give fans the chance to enter a sweepstakes to win an authentic American League Championship ring from the 2014 season.

The Royals Charities' American League Championship Ring Sweepstakes launched on Opening Day at www.royals.com/ring. For a $10 donation to Royals Charities, one lucky fan will win the 10-karat white gold ring celebrating the historic 2014 season. The ring weighs 51.8 grams and includes 92 diamonds.

The winner will be announced on Friday, June 5 during the FOX Sports Kansas City broadcast when the Royals host the Texas Rangers game at 7:10 p.m. at Kauffman Stadium.

Proceeds from the sweepstakes benefit Royals Charities, which strives to support children, education, youth baseball/softball, and military in and around the Kansas City area. The foundation accomplishes this mission through financial donations, as well as in-kind support, including memorabilia, tickets and publicity. Under the leadership of the Glass family, Royals Charities has donated more than $9 million dollars in grants since its inception.
