  • Phillies Extraordinary Scholar Winners: Julia Weikart (Gateway Regional High School, Woodbury, NJ) and Jaina Hausser (Hillsborough High School, Hillsborough, NJ) will be honored for their work in the community while maintaining a minimum B average.

  • Asian Pacific Celebration. Celebrate the 12th annual Asian Pacific Celebration at Citizens Bank Park featuring ethnic foods (including potstickers and sushi behind Section 106), music and dancing representing the rich cultural traditions from many Asian and Pacific countries!
    • Gate performances by Philadelphia Sun Lion Dancers, Bollywood Dreams Bhangra Dancers and the Bhutanese American Organization-Philadelphia Dance Club.
    • National Anthem: PennSori.
    • First Ball: Miss America 2014 Nina Davuluri.
    • On-Field Performances by Penn Dhamaka and Indonesian Group.
    • 5th Inning: The Philadelphia Sun Lion Dancers will dance with the Phanatic!
    • 7th Inning: Bollywood Dreams Bhangra Dancers will perform on the dugout.

  • Turkey Hill Kids Opening Day. Kids 14 and under will receive a Turkey Hill Phillies Bat Pack. Highlights include:
    • Starting Nine: Nine young fans will be chosen at random at the gates to accompany players onto the field for the national anthem - the first of the season!
    • First Ball: Representing Turkey Hill, Hunter Kunkel (11-years-old).
    • Headshots of Phillies Players drawn by young fans in the Phillies Phundamentals educational program will be shown on PhanaVision during their at bat.
    • 3rd inning & 6th innings: Youngsters will be chosen to change bases with our Phillies grounds crew.
    • 7th Inning: Youngsters chosen at the gates will dance on the dugout with the Phanatic!
  • Celebrate Sundays at Citizens Bank Park Begins! Highlights include:
    • Fans who purchase tickets in the Arcade Sections 233-237 will receive a pair of Celebrate Sunday Sunglasses with each ticket purchased. Facepainters will also be on-hand as part of Celebrate Sundays.
    • Pregame: $10 Family Pack available exclusively at all South Philadelphia Market stands from the time that gates open until first pitch. Choose from a combination of three items (regular popcorn, soft pretzel, hot dog or regular soda) all for just $10.
    • In-Game: Complimentary face painting on the concourse, $5 Ice Cream Sundaes and Root Beer Floats at Harry the K's starting in the 4th inning.
