Red Sox offer special pricing for military members and veterans; Announce return of popular "Tickets for Troops" program June 25

The Red Sox today announced that active-duty, retired, and veteran service members will receive special pricing on tickets to games at Fenway Park. The club also announced the return of the popular "Tickets for Troops" program on June 25, which gives fans the opportunity to donate their tickets to members of the United States Armed Forces for a select game. Tickets for Troops is presented by the United States Department of Veteran Affairs.

Veterans and Military members can go to redsox.com/military to purchase tickets online, made possible through a partnership with GovX.com to verify proof of service.

On June 25, season ticket holders and fans with tickets to the 1:35 p.m. Red Sox-Orioles game will have an opportunity to donate their tickets to members of the armed forces.

The club works with the Department of Defense to distribute tickets to all branches of the United States Armed Forces serving in military installations throughout New England. Donated tickets are also given to the Red Sox Foundation/MGH Home Base Program, which treats veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan with brain injuries and combat stress disorders.

In 2014, more than 1400 tickets were donated by season ticket holders, players, and Red Sox front office personnel.

Fans interested in donating their June 25 Red Sox-Orioles tickets can do so by contacting the Red Sox ticket office at (877) RED-SOX9, or at the Fenway Park box office.
