"You Score as the Bucs Score" promotion returns this weekend

The Pittsburgh Pirates today announced the return of the popular fan-value "You Score as the Bucs Score" promotion, offering fans the opportunity to save each time the Pirates score against the St. Louis Cardinals this weekend.

The Pirates have scored an average of four runs per game coming into the weekend series and now for every run the Pirates score during the three-game series in St. Louis on Friday, May 1 through Sunday, May 3, fans will receive one dollar off the purchase price of Lower Outfield Box and Outfield Box seats for each game during next week's six-game homestand at PNC Park vs. the Cincinnati Reds (Monday, May 5 through Wednesday, May 7) and Cardinals (Friday, May 8 through Sunday, May 10).

Tuesday, May 5 vs Cincinnati Reds (7:05 p.m.)

Wednesday, May 6 vs Cincinnati Reds (7:05 p.m.)

Thursday, May 7 vs Cincinnati Reds (7:05 p.m.) Military Appreciation Night and Clint Hurdle Gnome, presented by Trib Total Media

Friday, May 8 vs St. Louis Cardinals (7:05 p.m.) Free Shirt Friday, presented by Mylan

Saturday, May 9 vs St. Louis Cardinals (7:05 p.m.) Zambelli Fireworks Night, presented by Cedar Point and Coca-Cola

Sunday, May 10 vs. St. Louis Cardinals (1:35 p.m.) Kids Day and Mother's Day, all moms receive a reusable tote bag, courtesy of MLB Network

Discounted tickets will go on sale approximately 30 minutes following the end of the Sunday, May 3 game at pirates.com/howmanyruns or by calling 1-877-893-2827, and also will be available for purchase at 9 a.m. on Monday, May 4, at the PNC Park box office. The promotion will run as long as supplies last.

All three games of the Cardinals series in St. Louis will be televised on ROOT SPORTS and can be heard on SPORTSRADIO 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh and the Pirates Radio Network.
