Indians activate OF Nick Swisher from 15-day DL

CLEVELAND, OH - The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster moves relative to the Major League roster:

Activated OF NICK SWISHER (#33) from the 15-day Disabled List.

Optioned OF TYLER HOLT to AAA Columbus.

Swisher spent the first month of the 2015 season rehabbing from bilateral knee surgery that ended his 2014 season last August. He began a rehabilitation assignment in Triple-A Columbus on April 24 and hit .375 (9-24) with 2 doubles, 1 home run and 5RBI in 6 games for the Clippers prior to today's activation.
