Giants welcome Braves and Pirates to town

Homestand features: Chinese Heritage Night, Postseason Heroes Bobblehead and Autism Awareness Night

SAN FRANCISCO, CA. - The 2014 World Champion San Francisco Giants return home for a seven-game homestand against the Atlanta Braves (May 28-31) and the Pittsburgh Pirates (June 1-3).

Thursday, May 28, is Chinese Heritage Night. Fans who purchase a special event ticket will receive a package that includes a seat in one of the Chinese Heritage Sections, and a collector's edition Giant's-themed "Year of the Ram" figurine. Prior to the game, cultural performances will take place on the field for fans to enjoy. Partial proceeds from each special event ticket sold will benefit local Chinese charities. The Giants will also raise awareness on this evening for Hepatits B, working in partnership with SF Hep B Free. Additionally, prior to the game, Matt Cain will be catching the ceremonial first pitch from a Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish child.

It is also the first Singles Night of the year, presented by Blupe. Special event ticket holders will receive access to the pre-game Singles Party on the Flight Deck of the Virgin America Club Level from 5:15-7:00 p.m., a voucher for one free alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage, as well as a seat in the special section for the game. 

Friday, May 29, is Mustache Night, presented by Lyft. The first 40,000 fans will receive a foam mustache for "Orange Friday". In addition, special event ticket holders will receive admission to the Orange Friday Happy Hour pre-game party, presented by Lagunitas Brewing Company, in Seals Plaza from 5:00-7:00 p.m. The event will be complete with live music and entertainment by Mustache Harbor, and ticket holders will receive a complimentary Lagunitas beer or non-alcoholic beverage and there will be multiple food and drink specials available for purchase. Partial proceeds from each special event ticket sold will benefit local non-profits.

Also on Friday, May 29 former Giants catcher Bengie Molina will be at AT&T Park to "catch" the first pitch as well as sign copies of his new book, Molina, The Story of The Father Who Raised An Unlikely Baseball Dynasty, from the 1st through 3rd innings in the From The Clubhouse store located on the Promenade Level behind home plate. 

On Saturday, May 30, the first 40,000 fans will receive either Brandon Belt, Brandon Crawford, or Yusmeiro Petit Giants World Champions Postseason Heroes Bobblehead, presented by AAA.

In addition, fans who bring a new or used glove, or a $10 donation, to the Junior Giants Glove Drive presented by Bank of America will receive a Madison Bumgarner NLCS & World Series MVP pin or a 2014 World Champions pin. Proceeds from each donation or glove benefit the Junior Giants baseball program.

The first 20,000 fans in attendance on Sunday, May 31 will receive a Giants World Champions Banner, presented by Coca-Cola. Additionally, all kids 14-years and younger are invited to come run the bases following the game, presented by See's Candies. Sunday is also the Giants official autograph day, when selected players, coaches, and alumni sign autographs following the conclusion of batting practice from the Bullpen Boxes in Sections 104/105 and 126/127. Autographs are for kids 16 and under. The Giants will also highlight the San Francisco Baykeeper Parade on the scoreboard just before the game, carrying live the simmers, kayakers, rowers, sailors and stand-up paddle boarders who will make their way from the Ferry Building to McCovey Cove to celebrate a healthy San Francisco Bay. 

Monday, June 1, is KNBR Night with Brian Murphy and Paul McCaffery presented by Coors Light. Special event ticket holders are invited to the KNBR pre-game event with the faces of "Murph and Mac", and will receive a ticket to the game, and a limited-edition dual-bobblehead of Murph and Mac. The pre-game event will take place in Seals Plaza from 5:00-7:00 p.m. A portion of the proceeds from every special event ticket sold will benefit the Junior Giants and "Music in Schools Today". 

Tuesday, June 2, is Autism Awareness Night at AT&T Park, partnered by Autism Speaks and Anova. Special event ticket holders will receive a limited-edition Will Clark-themed Giants hat, in addition to their ticket to the game. Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase a VIP special event ticket, which will give them access to the Triples Alley Premium Location from 4:45- 6:45 p.m. for complimentary food and beverage, as well as on-field access to watch batting practice. In addition, VIP ticket holders will receive a Will Clark-themed Giants hat and an autographed Will Clark mini helmet. Proceeds from every Autism Awareness special event ticket will be donated to non-profits in the Autism community.

It is also Say Hey Tuesday as CSN Bay Area will host Yahoo! Sports Talk Live, Giants Pregame Live, and Giants Postgame Live from Willie Mays Plaza. Fans are invited to come out early and watch their favorite sports analysts. The first 500 fans who come to Willie Mays Plaza and get in line at the Comcast SportsNet tent will receive a Snowglobe.

Following the game Wednesday, June 3rd, is the Home Run Challenge at AT&T Park, featuring special guest Will Clark. Fans who purchase a spot will have the opportunity to hit off the pitching machine from home plate, participate in fielding activities, enjoy dinner in the dugout and more.
