D-backs reinstate Matt Stites from the disabled list; option to Reno

PHOENIX -- The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) reinstated Matt Stites from the 15-day disabled list (right elbow inflammation) and optioned him to Triple-A Reno, as announced by D-backs Sr. Vice President & General Manager Dave Stewart.

Stites, 25, began the season on the disabled list, and made 2 rehab appearances with Single-A Visalia (2 ER in 1.1 IP). In 37 games with Arizona last season, he posted a 5.73 ERA (21 ER in 33.0 IP) and 26 strikeouts.
