Catcher Erik Kratz Claimed Off Waivers By The Boston Red Sox

KANSAS CITY, MO (June 21, 2015) - The Kansas City Royals announced today that catcher Erik Kratz has been claimed off waivers by the Boston Red Sox. Kratz, 34, was designated for assignment by the Royals on June 11. He played in four games with the Royals before being placed on the disabled list on May 6.
