Giants welcome Mets and Phillies to town

Homestand features: Firefighter Appreciation Night, Social Media Night, and the Junior Giants Stretch Drive

SAN FRANCISCO, CA. - The 2014 World Champion San Francisco Giants return home for a six-game homestand against the New York Mets (July 6-8) and the Philadelphia Phillies (July 10-12).

Monday, July 6, is Firefighter Appreciation Night presented by AAA. The special event ticket package includes a ticket to the game versus the Mets, access to the pre-game party in Seals Plaza from 5:00-7:00 p.m., as well as a Firefighter-themed Giants blanket. In addition, selected firefighters will be honored in a pre-game honors ceremony taking place on the field before the game. Proceeds from each special event ticket sold will be donated to the California Fire Foundation and the SFFD Toy Program.

On Tuesday, July 7, the Giants will host a special Bruce Lee 75th Birthday Celebration. Fans who purchase a special event ticket will receive a special 75th Birthday-edition Bruce Lee/Giants Bobblehead, and ticket to the game versus the Mets. Partial proceeds from each special event ticket sold will benefit the Bruce Lee Foundation. Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase a VIP special event ticket, which will give them access to the Virgin America Club Level from 5:15-7:00 p.m. to participate in a special Q&A panel with members of the Lee family. VIP special event ticket holders will also receive a limited VIP-edition Bruce Lee 3-D poster, signed by members of Bruce Lee's family, and 3-D glasses. 

It is also Say Hey Tuesday as CSN Bay Area will host Yahoo! Sports Talk Live, Giants Pregame Live, and Giants Postgame Live from Willie Mays Plaza. Fans are invited to come out early and watch their favorite sports analysts. The first 500 fans who come to Willie Mays Plaza and get in line at the Comcast SportsNet tent will receive a Giants Scarf.

Wednesday, July 8, is Donate Life Day at the park presented by the Giants Community Fund. Donor Network West volunteers will pass out 20,000 organ donor awareness baseball cards to fans entering the stadium and there will be a raffle in the Community Clubhouse. It is also the KNBR/Supercuts Take a Cut Challenge with Murph and Mac. The winners of the challenge will take receive a haircut before the ballgame on July 8.

Friday, July 10, is Social Media Night, presented by AT&T. Fans who purchase a special event ticket will receive a #PenceOnTheFence Doll, and a ticket to the game versus the Phillies. In addition, AT&T Park will host various social media-specific contests for fans attending the game.

Friday is also Orange Friday at AT&T Park. Special event ticket holders will receive admission to the Orange Friday Happy Hour pre-game party, presented by Lagunitas Brewing Company, in Seals Plaza from 5:00-7:00 p.m., as well as a ticket to the game. The event will be complete with live music featuring Resurrection- a Journey Tribute Band. Ticket holders will receive a complimentary Lagunitas beer or non-alcoholic beverage.

The 7th annual Junior Giants Stretch Drive starts on Friday and runs through Sunday, July 12.   The Stretch Drive was inspired by Willie "Stretch" McCovey to raise funds and awareness for the Giants Community Fund's Junior Giants program. Donors who give at the $50 Stretch level will receive a commemorative Madison Bumgarner Bobblehead. Bobbleheads will be available for purchase at the community clubhouse or at sfgiants.com/stretchdrive.

On Saturday, July 11, the first 20,000 fans will receive a Giants License Plate, presented by Good Neighbor Pharmacy.

Also on Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12, Marty Lurie and Patrick Connor will broadcast live from the patio at Public House, leading up to the Giants pre-game show on KNBR 680.

On Sunday, July 12, the first 20,000 fans will receive a Giants World Champions Cap, presented by Dignity Health. Sunday is also Boy Scout Day. Fans who purchase a special event ticket will receive a collector's edition 2014 World Champions Giants Boy Scout Patch, and a ticket to the game versus the Phillies. Prior to the game, all Boy Scouts and Scout Leaders will be invited to participate in a pregame ceremony on the field to honor the scouts. Partial proceeds from each special event ticket sold will benefit Boy Scouts of America.

Additionally on Sunday, all kids 14-years and younger are invited to come run the bases following the game, presented by See's Candies. Sunday is also the Giants official autograph day, when selected players, coaches, and alumni sign autographs following the conclusion of batting practice. Autographs are for kids 16 and under.
