Baltimore, Md. - The Texas Rangers announced this afternoon that the club has reinstated right-handed pitcher Neftali Feliz from the 15-day disabled list and optioned right-handed pitcher Nick Martinez to Triple-A Round Rock.

Feliz was placed on the disabled list on May 25, retroactive to May 20, with an axillary abscess on his right side. Feliz underwent a procedure to address the situation in New York while on that road trip. He has gone 1-2 with a 5.09 ERA (10 ER/17.2 IP) in 17 relief appearances for the Rangers this season. Feliz made 10 relief appearances with Round Rock (AAA) on an injury rehabilitation assignment that began June 6, going 0-1 with a 7.36 ERA (9 ER/11.0 IP). Pacific Coast League opponents hit .319 (15-47) with 4 walks and 11 strikeouts. He last pitched on Tuesday at Omaha: 1.0 IP, 2 H, 2 R-1 ER, 0 BB, 1 SO, 24 pitches/16 strikes.

Martinez was a member of the Opening Day rotation and has gone 5-5 with a 3.43 ERA (37 ER/97.0 IP) in 16 games/starts for Texas in 2015.

With today's moves, the Rangers are still at the 40-player limit on the club's major league roster.
