Arlington, Texas-Prince Fielder lost to the Reds Todd Frazier in the first round of Monday's Gillette Home Run Derby presented by Head & Shoulders at Cincinnati's Great American Ball Park.

Fielder was defeated, 14-13, when Frazier, the eventual champion, went deep on his first swing in bonus time in the Derby's new streamlined format featuring brackets and timed rounds.
