Sam Hunt to cap off the Summer Concert Series presented by Coca-Cola and Delta Air Lines

Hunt set to perform on Thursday, October 1

ATLANTA - The Atlanta Braves announce today that country artist Sam Hunt will be playing the finale of the Summer Concert Series presented by Coca-Cola and Delta Air Lines on Thursday, October 1. Hunt will take the stage following the matchup against the Washington Nationals, and concert admission is free with a paid game ticket.

Hunt has exploded on the music scene since the debut of his first album, Montevallo, in October 2014. The album climbed the Billboard Country Albums chart and stayed at number one for more than 30 weeks, it also hit number three on the Billboard chart. His second single from the album, "Take Your Time," also reached number one for several weeks on the Billboard Country Songs chart.

The songwriter turned singer first penned hits for Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney and Billy Currington before striking out as a solo artist. In 2013, Hunt released a mixtape of acoustic songs that soon averaged 300,000 streams per day on Spotify, and he won the latest cycle of Spotify's "emerge" program for new artists. Hunt grew up in Braves Country, spending his early years in Cedartown, Georgia, and later attending the University of Alabama-Birmingham, where he played football.

The Summer Concert Series presented by Coca-Cola and Delta Air Lines kicked off on June 10 with a performance by pop artist Charli XCX, and continued on June 20 with R&B legend Boyz II Men. The third installment of the series will take place on August 6 with a performance by Billy Currington.
