Giants welcome Athletics and Brewers to town

SAN FRANCISCO, CA. - The 2014 World Champion San Francisco Giants return home for a six-game homestand against the Oakland Athletics (July 24-26) and the Milwaukee Brewers (July 27-29).

Friday, July 24, is the annual Wine Fest presented by LOCA, the Wines of Lodi, California. The special event ticket package includes a ticket to the game versus the Athletics, access to the pre-game party in Seals Plaza from 5:00-7:00 p.m., a complimentary tasting card and a Giants Wine Charm.

On Saturday, July 25, the first 20,000 fans will receive a Hunter Pence Gnome, presented by Blue Shield of California.

On Sunday, July 26, the first 20,000 fans will receive a Giants Cowboy Hat, presented by The Saddle Rack. Additionally on Sunday, all kids 14-years and younger are invited to run the bases following the game, presented by See's Candies. Sunday is also the Giants official autograph day, when two players, coaches, or alumni sign autographs following the conclusion of batting practice for kids 16 and under.

Monday, July 27, is Jewish Heritage Night. Fans who purchase a special event ticket will receive access to the Jewish Heritage Night pre-game party in Seals Plaza from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. and a collector's edition Giants Kiddush Cup. Cultural food and drink will also be available for fans to purchase at the Seals Plaza pre-game party. Proceeds from each special event ticket sold will benefit local charitable programs in the Jewish community.  

Monday is the annual Giants Stitch N' Pitch. Special event ticket holders will receive a ticket to the game versus the Brewers and a Giants Project Bag. It is also a Peanut Allergy Friendly Game Day where fans who purchase a designated Peanut Allergy Friendly ticket will sit in a special Peanut Controlled Section, VR 336, during the game versus the Brewers. The Giants will also raise awareness for food allergies, working in partnership with the Natalie Giorgi Sunshine Foundation and Food Allergy Research & Education.

Tuesday, July 28 is Law Enforcement Appreciation Night presented by AAA. The special event ticket package will include a ticket to the game versus the Brewers, as well as a limited-edition Law Enforcement-themed Giants Commemorative Scarf. In addition, the Family Safety Festival will take place in O'Doul Plaza before the game, featuring interactive displays from public safety organizations including SFPD, SFFD, FBI and CHP. There will also be a ceremony to honor fallen officers that will take place on the field.

It is also Say Hey Tuesday as CSN Bay Area will host Sports Talk Live, Giants Pregame Live, and Giants Postgame Live from Willie Mays Plaza. Fans are invited to come out early and watch their favorite sports analysts. The first 500 fans who come to Willie Mays Plaza and get in line at the Comcast SportsNet tent will receive a Giants Jersey.

Wednesday, July 29, is the annual Giants Slumber Party presented by AT&T. Special event ticket holders will camp on the field following the game for a night at the park complete with slumber "party favors, dinner and midnight snacks, games and movies, and a photo on the field.

On August 2^nd and August 3^rd the Giants Community Fund will host the annual Junior Giants Festival with over 3,000 Junior Giants in attendance. The Festival is the reward for entire Junior Giants teams who have read to the Homerun Reading Level this summer. Junior Giants will get to run the bases on the field and enjoy various stations throughout the ballpark focusing on Health, Education and Bullying Prevention.
