Dodgers Recall Josh Ravin

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Dodgers today recalled right-handed pitcher Josh Ravin (#71) from Triple-A Oklahoma City and placed right-hander Zack Greinke on the paternity list.

Ravin, 27, will be making his third stint on the Dodger roster, having gone 2-1 with a 6.43 ERA (5 ER/7.0 IP) in seven previous games with the club. He last pitched on Tuesday at Omaha (Royals), allowing one run in 1.0 inning of relief, and has gone 3-1 with three saves and a 2.33 ERA in 21 relief appearances with OKC this year. With Oklahoma City, Ravin has limited opponents to a .204 batting average with 38 strikeouts in 27.0 innings.

Greinke has gone 9-2 with a 1.30 ERA in 19 starts this year and is currently riding a 43.2 scoreless inning streak in his last six starts since June 18.
