Pirates announce Sunday, August 9 game time change

Change Necessary in Order to Accommodate ESPN National Television Broadcast

The Pittsburgh Pirates announced today a game time change for the Sunday, August 9 game vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers at PNC Park. First pitch time is now moved from the originally scheduled 1:35 p.m. ET to the new 8 p.m. ET as the contest was selected by ESPN for its exclusive National Sunday Night Baseball telecast.

This marks the third time in the past two seasons the Pirates will be featured on ESPN Sunday Night Baseball at PNC Park, and the second time this season (Also Sunday, July 12 vs. St. Louis Cardinals). Due to the game time change several of the scheduled Kids Day activities will be cancelled, including the pregame #1 Cochran Family Fun Zone on Federal Street and the postgame "Kids Run the Bases," presented by the Original Pizza Logs.
