Dodgers Reinstate Howie Kendrick
LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Dodgers today reinstated infielder Howie Kendrick from the 15-day disabled list.
Kendrick, 32, has appeared in 105 games for Los Angeles, batting .296 with nine home runs and 49 RBI this season before being placed on the 15-day disabled list on August 10 with a strained left hamstring. He currently has a five-game hitting streak, going 11-for-23 (.478) with two doubles and four RBI since August 5 and is tied for the team lead with 38 multi-hit games this season.
The Dodgers now have 36 players on their active roster.
