The Darren Daulton Foundation & The Phillies to Host Annual Golf Outing on Oct. 12

The Darren Daulton Foundation along with title sponsor, The Philadelphia Phillies, and media sponsor 97.5 The Fanatic, are hosting a charity golf outing at Plymouth Country Club, in Plymouth Meeting, PA, on October 12, 2015.

The Philadelphia Phillies, their Alumni, and the 97.5 The Fanatic are joining Darren Daulton in a charity golf outing to benefit The Darren Daulton Foundation (darrendaultonfoundation.org). The Darren Daulton Foundation is committed to providing financial assistance to those who suffer from brain cancer, brain tumors and brain injuries.

While Darren is still courageously fighting his battle with brain cancer, he is doing well and looking forward to attending the tournament and spending the day with his teammates, sponsors and friends.

Darren will be joined by several of his teammates from the '93 team including Danny Jackson, Mitch Williams, Ben Rivera, Ricky Jordan, Ruben Amaro Jr., and Tommy Greene. Confirmed guests of honor include Larry Bowa, Chad Billingsley, Steve Jeltz, Larry Christenson, Don Carmen, Greg Gross, and Dick Yuengling. Others that joined last year and are slated to attend include Scott Palmer, Mickey Morandini, and Mike Missanelli. 97.5 The Fanatic will be broadcasting live from the event, sharing all of the events excitement with their listeners. And a night could not be complete without an appearance from the Phillie Phanatic.

Golf Format

The format for the charity golf outing will be a 4-person Scramble. Following lunch at noon and the golf outing, dinner will be served at which time great prizes will be awarded for contests such as "Closest to the Pin", "Long-Drive" and low scores. During the evening, guests will have the opportunity to bid on sports memorabilia and other fabulous items.
