C Carson Blair outrighted to Triple-A Nashville

The Oakland A's outrighted catcher Carson Blair to Triple-A Nashville, the club announced today.
 
Blair began the 2015 season at Double-A Midland, made his Triple-A debut at Nashville in July and his Major League debut with Oakland in September. He went 4-for-31 (.129) with a home run and three RBI in 11 games with the A's before undergoing surgery to repair a torn medial meniscus in his left knee Sept. 30. The 26-year-old right-handed hitter was batting .272 with six home runs and 29 RBI in 55 games with Midland when he was promoted to Nashville July 1. Blair went on to bat .221 with three home runs and eight RBI in 33 games with the Sounds and hit a combined .251 with nine home runs and 37 RBI in a minor league career-high 88 games.
