Twins Spring Training single-game tickets go on sale Saturday, January 9

Spring Training season and group tickets on sale now revised schedule now includes game with Toronto Blue Jays

The Minnesota Twins announced today that single-game tickets for the 2016 Spring Training campaign go on sale on Saturday, Jan. 9 at 9 a.m. EST (8 a.m. CST) at the Hammond Stadium Box Office, online at twinsbaseball.com, or by calling 1-800-33-TWINS (800-338-9467). Additionally, season tickets and group tickets for the 2016 Grapefruit League season at CenturyLink Sports Complex are on sale now.
 
Twins pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report on Sunday, Feb. 21, with their first workout slated for Monday, Feb. 22. The balance of the squad is scheduled to report on Friday, Feb. 26, with full-squad workouts beginning on Saturday, Feb. 27.
 
The Twins 2016 schedule features 33 Grapefruit League games (15 home, 18 road) with Opening Night against the Boston Red Sox on March 3 at 7:05 p.m. at Hammond Stadium. The Twins will also travel to Washington D.C. for the final two Spring Training games against the Nationals at Nationals Park on April 1 and 2.
 
Highlights of the Twins home Grapefruit League schedule include three additional games against the Red Sox (March 16, 29 and 31), including postgame fireworks March 16 and Fan Appreciation Day March 31; a visit by the NL Central Division Champion St. Louis Cardinals (March 8); Minnesota Day, March 13 against the Baltimore Orioles; two visits by the NL Wild Card Pittsburgh Pirates (March 21 and 26); a visit by the AL Wild Card New York Yankees (March 20); and a visit by the AL East Champion Toronto Blue Jays (March 30), which is a change from the original schedule.
