Soxfest 2012 Premium Upgrade Package Available On Thursday, December 22
Package Available to Those With Hotel Reservations; Beckham, Crain, Peavy, Pierzynski and Sale Added to SoxFest Lineup
The Chicago White Sox once again will offer fans a unique experience at SoxFest 2012 – the Premium Upgrade Package. The offering, a favorite among hundreds of SoxFest attendees, will be available for the fifth consecutive year. The Premium Upgrade Package is only available to fans who purchased or purchase the SoxFest hotel package and weekend pass(es) at the Palmer House Hilton prior to Wednesday, December 21 at 5:00 p.m. CT. Premium Upgrade Packages go on sale on Thursday, December 22 on whitesox.com at 10:00 a.m.
This year’s Premium Upgrade Package ($225) purchasers will receive:
- A SoxFest Welcome Pack upon hotel check-in which includes a SoxFest softshell sleeveless vest, two lower deck tickets to a game of choice from a list of select April/May 2012 games and official MLB baseball suitable for autographs
- A special SoxFest MVP pass that allows for three premium autographs without waiting in lines
- Access to a private autograph session with manager Robin Ventura on Friday night
- Access to a private seminar with members of the 2005 World Series championship team on Friday night
- Access to a private photo corner session with Joe Crede and the 2005 World Series Trophy on Saturday
Two-night hotel reservations at the Palmer House Hilton for SoxFest 2012 along with weekend passes to the event, remain available.
The special SoxFest hotel rate is $316 (tax included) for a two-night stay. White Sox fans may purchase up to two rooms per reservation, and fans who purchase a two-night stay are eligible to purchase up to four SoxFest weekend passes at $75 each. SoxFest hotel packages and weekend passes can again be purchased in the same online transaction at whitesox.com. Weekend passes are only available for purchase by fans who book the two-night stay.
SoxFest 2012 is presented by Miller Lite and Pepsi and will be held Friday, January 27, Saturday, January 28 and Sunday, January 29, 2012. Dates and times are: Friday, 4:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Gordon Beckham, Jesse Crain, Jake Peavy, A.J. Pierzynski and Chris Sale have been added to the list of current players scheduled to attend SoxFest. Other current players attending include: Adam Dunn, Tyler Flowers, Gavin Floyd, Phil Humber, Paul Konerko, Brent Lillibridge, Brent Morel, Alexei Ramirez, Matt Thornton and Dayan Viciedo, and new White Sox manager Robin Ventura.
