Viva Los Dodgers Days Presented by State Farm, Time Warner Cable and Chevrolet Starts this Sunday

LOS ANGELES – “Viva Los Dodgers Days” presented by State Farm, Time Warner Cable and Chevrolet, now in its third season, takes place each Sunday of every homestand starting this Sunday prior to the 1:10 p.m. game against San Diego. The season-long initiative celebrates Latino culture in Los Angeles and the legacy of Latin American Dodgers past and present at a family-friendly pregame festival in lot 6 two hours prior to each Sunday home game.
 
All Dodger fans are welcome and the event is free with a ticket for the day’s game. “Viva Los Dodgers Days” includes live music, giveaways and family-friendly activities such as face painting for kids, batting cages, pitching inflatables and photo booths. Fans that attend “Viva Los Dodgers Days” will also have the chance to meet, take photos with and get autographs from current and former Dodger players.
 
Talent that has performed at “Viva Los Dodgers” Days includes Grammy and Latin Grammy nominees and winners. Entertainment this Sunday features “Last Comic Standing!” winner Felipe Esparza. Moonlight Trio, a Los Angeles band with Mexican roots with a rock, rockabilly and cumbia influenced musical-style, will perform.
 
Silvia Botello of “Silvia en la Mañana” on Univision Radio’s Recuerdo 98.3 FM and 103.9FM will emcee. Dodger alumnus Derrel Thomas will sign autographs for fans. Dodger partners that will partake in “Viva Los Dodgers Days” this season with giveaways and on site promotions include State Farm, Time Warner Cable, Chevrolet, Automobile Club of Southern California, Cricket Wireless, Sparkletts and Staples. This Sunday, fans can also play MLB2K12 game on Xbox and PlayStation.
