RHP Steve Delabar optioned to Triple-A Tacoma

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager Jack Zduriencik announced today the following roster move following tonight’s 21-8 win over the Texas Rangers:

RHP Steve Delabar optioned to AAA Tacoma (post-game)

Delabar, 28, is 1-1 with a 5.18 ERA (14 ER, 24.1 IP) in a team-high 25 relief appearances. He has allowed 18 hits, 7 of which have been home runs. Delabar made his Major League debut with the Mariners last season after being out of affiliated professional baseball (non-independent leagues) since 2008.
