Astros sign eight additional Draft Picks
Houston has signed 10 total selections from 2012 MLB Draft
The Houston Astros announced today the signing of eight additional selections from the 2012 MLB First Year Player Draft: OF Andrew Aplin (5th round), OF Terrell Joyce (12th round), LHP Brian Holmes (13th round), IF Joseph Sclafani (14th round), RHP Erick Gonzalez (15th round), C Richard Gingras (18th round), RHP John Neely (30th round) and C M.P. Cokinos (31st round). Contract terms were not disclosed. Astros Assistant General Manager/Director of Scouting Bobby Heck made the official announcement.
Prior to today, the Astros announced the signings of first-round pick SS Carlos Correa yesterday, and the signing of third-round pick RHP Brady Rodgers on Wednesday.
The Astros have now signed 10 of their 41 Draft picks.
