Braves Sign 26 of 40 Draft Selections

The Atlanta Braves announced today that they have signed 26 of their 40 draft selections from the 2012 First-Year Player Draft. Included in the 26 signees are the Braves’ first six selections and 26 of their top 30 selections. Of the 26 players, 12 are pitchers (10 right-handed and two left-handed), seven are infielders, four are outfielders and three are catchers. In addition, 22 of the 26 inked players are out of college, while the remaining four draftees are out of high school.
