Jermaine Dye to "takeover" White Sox Twitter

Fans can follow the 2005 World Series MVP via @WhiteSox during Saturday’s game

CHICAGO -- Former Chicago White Sox All-Star outfielder Jermaine Dye will “takeover” the team’s Twitter during Saturday’s game vs. Milwaukee.  The MVP of the 2005 World Series will provide his thoughts and insights via the official White Sox Twitter account (@WhiteSox or twitter.com/WhiteSox) throughout the game.

Dye was a two-time All-Star (2000 with Kansas City and 2006 with the White Sox) and the 2006 recipient of the Silver Slugger Award.  He still ranks seventh in franchise history with 164 home runs.

The White Sox vs. Milwaukee game on Saturday (6:15 p.m.) will be broadcast on FOX (WFLD-TV).  Tickets to the game are available at whitesox.com, the U.S. Cellular Field ticket office and all Ticketmaster locations.
