D-backs Announce $10 Tickets for Select Games Throughout July

D-backs President & CEO Derrick Hall Reaches 10,000 Twitter Followers, Commits to Help #End Hunger

Arizona Diamondbacks President & CEO Derrick Hall announced today via Twitter (@DHallDbacks) a special $10 ticket offer for select lower level seats during upcoming D-backs home games as a thank you for helping him reach 10,000 followers on Twitter. In addition, half of the proceeds from the $10 ticket sales will benefit the Valley of the Sun United Way’s efforts to #EndHunger in Maricopa County.

“Nearly one in five Arizonans live below the poverty line and must choose between purchasing food and paying for utilities every day,” said Hall. “Reaching 10,000 followers allows for me to get the word out about the need of so many that go hungry on a daily bases. I encourage everyone to step up to the plate and help us #EndHunger in Maricopa County.”

Hall, who serves as Chairman of the Board for Valley of the Sun United Way and leads the Hunger-Free Communities Plan Steering Committee, also announced that he will donate $1 to the #EndHunger campaign for every additional follower over 10,000 that he gets through July 26.

The $10 ticket offer includes Bleacher seats (regular price $15-$20) for home games July 20-26. Fans are encouraged to follow Hall on Twitter (@DHallDbacks) to get the offer code for the $10 ticket special.
