Cleveland Indians Charities, Cleveland Browns Foundation and Cleveland Cavaliers Youth Fund Announce Inaugural FANtastic 4-miler, presented by Cleveland Clinic

Four-mile Road Race Takes Runners Through Browns Stadium, Quicken Loans Arena and Progressive Field

CLEVELAND, OH – Cleveland Indians Charities, Cleveland Browns Foundation and Cavaliers Youth Fund have partnered together for the inaugural Cleveland FANtastic 4-Miler, on Sunday, July 15, 2012. The race is presented by Cleveland Clinic.  Proceeds benefit the charitable foundations of each organization that in turn provide funding and support to numerous charitable education and recreation programs serving the youth of Northeast Ohio. 

The FANtastic 4-miler is a unique 4-mile road race that will take runners through downtown Cleveland, into Cleveland Browns Stadium around the football field, through Quicken Loans Arena across the Cavs court and finish at Progressive Field on the warning track.  Immediately following the race, participants will also have the opportunity to walk around the warning track at Progressive Field. 

The race is $25 (pre-registered) or $30 (day of race) and participants can register at www.hmapromotions.net. The first 500 registrants will receive a free t-shirt.

At a post-race awards ceremony, the first place overall male and female winners will receive a Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavs and Cleveland Indians Experience Package.  Additional awards will also be given to the top three runners, male and female, in the following age categories: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 and over.
