PARRA MEET AND GREET: As part of #iScored Saturday, presented by freecreditscore.com, eight D-backs fans and a guest will have the chance to meet Parra prior to the game. Fans won the opportunity during the statewide scavenger hunt this week, receiving the golden ticket with their golden bobblehead at locations all over Arizona.

D-BACKS PARTNER BASEBALL CLINIC: The D-backs will host a special baseball game with representatives from various D-backs partners from 8-11 a.m. The D-backs will outfit the partners in a D-backs uniform.

“PASTIME FOR PATRIOTS” MYSTERY BALL: The D-backs will host Mystery Ball that will benefit D-backs pitcher Brad Ziegler’s charity “Pastime for Patriots.” Fans can purchase grab bags ($50 each) with a ‘Mystery Ball’ inside of the package signed by an MLB player or potentially a Hall of Famer, including Bryce Harper and Stephen Strasburg. Fans can choose from more than 400 grab bags.

STATE FARM GO TO BAT: The D-backs, in conjunction with Valley of the Sun United Way and State Farm, will recognize Phoenix Union High School District for its outstanding contributions to the Phoenix community.

D-BACKS BASEBALL ACADEMY SKILLS CHALLENGE CHAMPIONS DAY: All D-backs Academy summer campers competed in the D-backs Skills Challenge and on Sunday, the top 10 scores in each age division will compete prior to the game from 7-9 a.m. at Chase Field. 

D-BACKS BASEBALL ACADEMY BATTING PRACTICE EXPERIENCE: The D-backs Baseball Academy will host a special post-game batting practice experience on the field open to all kids ages six and up. MILITARY AND FIRST RESPONDERS 50% OFF SUNDAYS: Every Sunday home game, the D-backs offer 50 percent off single-game ticket prices for all military active duty, reserve, retired and veterans, as well as active or retired fire and police personnel with valid ID.

SUBWAY KIDS TAKE THE FIELD: Kids ages 7-15 can enter for the chance to “Take the Field” with D-backs players at every Sunday home game prior to the National Anthem. Entry forms are available at Subway.

CHEVY “PLAY BALL” KID: Phoenix-area Little League teams will be recognized on the field before the game, and one lucky team member will get to say “Play Ball” at the start of the game. Fans can register at a local Chevy dealer.

KIDS RUN THE BASES presented by NYS: Kids ages 15 and younger are invited to run the bases after the game and can line up at section 110 immediately following the game.

COLD STONE KIDS SUNDAYS: Each Sunday home game, one winner is selected to deliver the lineup card to the umpires with a D-backs coach before the game and deliver Cold Stone Ice Cream to the D-backs’ broadcast booths. Winners are selected from applications that can be picked up at a local Cold Stone Creamery location.

NO CHEW CREW presented by DELTA DENTAL: No Chew Crew members receive a free ticket to every Sunday game, courtesy of Delta Dental, when they pledge awareness of the harmful effects of spit tobacco. No Chew Crew is free to children 15 and younger. To register, visit www.dbacks.com/nochewcrew.

COMMUNITY EVENTS                            

VIP EXPERIENCE WITH BLOOMQUIST – Aug. 11: D-backs infielder Willie Bloomquist will host 6-year-old Alex Capraro, who is being treated at Phoenix Children’s Hospital for symptoms related to DiGeorge Syndrome, for a special behind-the-scenes VIP meet and greet prior to the game. 

TEAM SAUNDO – Aug. 12: D-backs pitcher Joe Saunders will visit with kids from the “Opportunity Through Baseball” program at 12:15 p.m. on the field.

D-BACKS BASEBALL ACADEMY YOUTH CLINICS: D-backs Baseball Academy coaches will host two free clinics for kids at Futures Field located in the Sandlot at each D-backs home game starting one hour before first pitch and at the end of the fourth inning.

ALL-STAR TEACHER RECOGNITION PROGRAM presented by CENTURYLINK: The D-backs and CenturyLink have partnered this season to develop the All-Star Teachers Recognition Program to recognize outstanding Arizona educators. Fans are invited to submit an essay (500 words or less) about an educator that has made a difference in their life. Five winning educators will be recognized before D-backs games this season and each will receive $2,000 courtesy of CenturyLink.
