OLYMPIC SILVER MEDALIST BRIGETTA BARRETT TO SING NATIONAL ANTHEM: 2012 Olympic Silver Medalist Brigetta Barrett will sing the national anthem. Barrett attends the University of Arizona and won the silver medal in the women’s high jump at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

ELMO TO THROW FIRST PITCH: Sesame Street star Elmo will throw out the first pitch. Elmo is in Phoenix on tour with the USO helping kids cope with parents serving overseas. Elmo will be joined by some of his other Sesame Street friends during the 7th inning stretch in the St. Joseph’s Hospital Sandlot.

CHOIR NIGHT: More than 1,000 local youth, ages junior high school and younger, will sing the national anthem from the warning track.

BEER PASSPORT NIGHT: Fans 21 and older are welcome to enjoy the D-backs’ first-ever Beer Passport Night. The festivities will start when gates open and continue up until game time. FIRST-EVER ALUMNI GAME presented by SANDERSON FORD: The D-backs will host the first-ever Alumni Game shortly following the D-backs-Giants game featuring several former D-backs players.

ALUMNI DAY: The D-backs will recognize all alumni in attendance in a special postgame ceremony on the field. Current D-backs players will wear a throwback purple jersey featuring the “Arizona” word mark on the front. In addition, fans can purchase a selection of throwback merchandise available at the Team Shop. The newest D-backs legend will be unveiled during the FOX Sports Arizona pregame show at 4:30 p.m. on a 42-foot tall super graphic across from Chase Field located in the Legends Entertainment District.

BIKE NIGHT: The D-backs will welcome more than 600 motorcycle enthusiasts to Chase Field. Bikers will have free parking on 4th Street and can show off their bikes to the public as fans enter the stadium.

BAND NIGHT: More than 500 band members from across the state of Arizona will participate in a mass live performance on the field prior to the game. The D-backs work closely with Arizona Band and Orchestra Directors to organize the event and help raise money for awareness for the arts and fund similar musical student programs. HISPANIC HERITAGE DAY presented by BUDWEISER: The D-backs will host three Lucha Libre matches along 4th Street with activities starting at 11 a.m. There will also be tailgate games, inflatables and food trucks along the plaza before the game. In addition, there will be Folklorico dancers and Mariachi performers prior to the game within the ballpark. D-backs players will wear Los D-backs jerseys that will be auctioned off on www.dbacks.com/auction. Participating partners include Cox, Mission Foods, Chevrolet and ESPN Deportes. MILITARY AND FIRST RESPONDERS 50% OFF SUNDAYS: Every Sunday home game, the D-backs offer 50 percent off single-game ticket prices for all military active duty, reserve, retired and veterans, as well as active or retired fire and police personnel with valid ID.

SUBWAY KIDS TAKE THE FIELD: Kids ages 7-15 can enter for the chance to “Take the Field” with D-backs players at every Sunday home game prior to the National Anthem. Entry forms are available at Subway.

CHEVY “PLAY BALL” KID: Phoenix-area Little League teams will be recognized on the field before the game and one lucky team member will get to say “Play Ball” at the start of the game. Fans can register at a local Chevy dealer.

KIDS RUN THE BASES presented by NYS: Kids ages 15 and younger are invited to run the bases after the game and can line up at section 110 immediately following the game.

COLD STONE KIDS SUNDAYS: Each Sunday home game, one winner is selected to deliver the lineup card to the umpires with a D-backs coach before the game and deliver Cold Stone Ice Cream to the D-backs’ broadcast booths. Winners are selected from applications that can be picked up at a local Cold Stone Creamery location.

STRIKE OUT PAIN: In an effort to combat prescription drug abuse, the D-backs and the Power of Pain Foundation (POPF) are encouraging fans to bring any unwanted or expired pain medication and drop off at Gate A from 4-8 p.m.

FRY’S D-BACKS REWARDS FIRST PITCH: Isaac Humes will throw out the first pitch as part of the Fry’s D-backs Rewards program. Humes earned the opportunity by purchasing participating products at Fry’s stores.

DOUBLE OLYMPIC MEDALIST NICK THOMAN TO THROW OUT FIRST PITCH: Olympic swimmer Nick Thoman will throw out the first pitch. Thoman received a gold medal for his performance as part of the men’s 4 x 100 meter medley relay and silver in the 100 meter backstroke for Team USA at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Thoman attended the University of Arizona.

D-BACKS WIVES’ “FAVORITE THINGS” AUCTION– Sept. 14 & 15: D-backs wives will put together baskets full of their “Favorite Things” and will include autographed memorabilia from current D-backs players. On Friday, Sept. 14, baskets will be filled with the Wives’ and player’s kids favorite items and on Saturday, the baskets will be filled with each of the player’s favorite items. The auction will begin when gates open through the end of the 6th inning at section 131. Proceeds will benefit the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation, Abe & Max Fund and Chrysalis.    

SHIRTS OFF OUR D-BACKS JERSEY RAFFLE presented by PANDA EXPRESS: The D-backs will raffle off authentic game-worn autographed jerseys. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase in sections 132, 111 and 325 for $5 each or five for $20 at select games throughout September, including: 14, 15, 16, 28 29 and 30. 

D-BACKS LEGEND FAN VOTE: Fans are encouraged to vote for the next D-backs legend to be featured in the Legends Entertainment District.
