Blue Jays deal Torrealba to Brewers

The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have traded C YORVIT TORREALBA to the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for a player to be named later or cash considerations.

TORREALBA, 34, has appeared in 10 games for the Blue Jays this season, posting a .214 average with one home run and two RBI. In 12 major league seasons the right-handed hitting catcher has recorded a .258 average with 56 home runs and 323 RBI.
