Detroit Tigers AL Central Division Champions Gear Now Available at The D Shop

DETROIT – All Tigers fans are invited to celebrate like their 2012 American League Central Division Champion Detroit Tigers! With tonight’s win at Kansas City, the Tigers have clinched the American League Central Division for the second straight season and have advanced to the playoffs for the 14th time in franchise history. Detroit advances to the playoffs in consecutive seasons for the first time since the club did so in both 1934 and 1935. Now that the Tigers are officially AL Central Division Champions, fans have the special opportunity to wear the same official apparel worn by the team during the postgame clubhouse celebration! Postseason gear will be available to all fans at The D Shop, which is located at Comerica Park on the corner of Witherell Street and Montcalm Street. The D Shop will open early on Tuesday and extend its hours this week so that you can be the first to have your clubhouse celebration gear! Doors will open at 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning and close at 7:00 p.m. Doors will be open from Wednesday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Specialty items include the 2012 AL Central Division Champions T-Shirts (adult and youth sizes) and AL Central Division Champions Caps. AL Central Division Champion novelties will also be available including Comerica Park exclusive commemorative pins.
