Phanatic to Make Special Appearance at Free MLK Day event

Fans are invited to join the Phillie Phanatic at the Sharing the Heritage! Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday Commemoration & Day of Service at the African American Museum in Philadelphia, 701 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106.

Thanks to Citizens Bank, all guests will receive free admission to the Museum that day (11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.), which will feature plenty of family-friendly activities, historical re-enactments, and music and dance performances – all in celebration of Martin Luther King.

In addition, the Phanatic will be making a special appearance at noon. Plus, children taking part in activities that day will receive a Junior Phillies duffle bag and Jackie Robinson children’s book (while supplies last).

The event will also feature a canned good collection to benefit Philabundance.
