Toronto Blue Jays and TD Bank Group Expand Partnership

The TORONTO BLUE JAYS are pleased to announce that TD is now the team's exclusive financial institution partner.

The increased level of integration between the Blue Jays and TD will result in items such as the sponsorship of the Blue Jays music theme nights and the Winter Tour along with a permanent footprint within Rogers Centre. The 200 level of Rogers Centre on the south end will be rebranded as the TD Comfort Clubhouse. This exclusive area will also be the new location for the TD Comfort Zone which will present community partners and fans with the opportunity to sit in the iconic TD comfort seats and enjoy a premium viewing experience.

"Expanding our partnership with this great Canadian institution enables both organizations to brand ourselves at Rogers Centre and across Canada.  TD is a highly respected organization and a leader in the financial industry that we are thrilled to further integrate into the fabric of Canada's Major League Baseball Club."

"We are thrilled to be the Official Bank of the Toronto Blue Jays. We look forward to continuing to bring comfort to Toronto Blue Jays fans as they cheer on Canada's team this season," said Chris Stamper, Senior Vice President, Corporate Marketing, TD Bank Group. "This aligns with our North American strategy and will promote the TD brand as Blue Jays games are broadcast across Canada and parts of the U.S. including Boston, New York, Baltimore, and Tampa."

In 2013 the Blue Jays will host three music theme nights at Rogers Centre presented by TD. This season will feature a Rock and Roll Music night on May 2, followed by Country Music night on July 4 and then Top 40 Music Night on August 15.

The Winter Tour presented by TD visited four provinces this January as the club and TD reached out to communities coast to coast at the grass roots level. In the three years that the Blue Jays have operated the Winter Tour, the club has made stops in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland and Nova Scotia. This popular initiative will continue to grow in partnership with TD.
