Texas Rangers sell over 104,000 tickets on first day of 2013 sales

Rangers Ballpark in Arlington ticket office moves to third base box office beginning Monday

Arlington, Texas-Individual tickets for all 2013 Texas Rangers home games went on sale this morning. As of 4:00 p.m. CT, this afternoon, the club had sold 104,530 tickets, compared to 101,672 on the first day of sales in 2012.

The total includes tickets sold at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington ticket office and phone and internet sales as well as group ticket purchases for 2013 games.

While the supply of individual reserved tickets for the Friday, April 5 home opener with the Los Angeles Angels has been exhausted, fans can still get opening day tickets with the purchase of Rangers full or half season ticket packages or 10-game and 20-game plans. The Rangers first base ticket office will be open on Sunday from 12 noon until 4:00 p.m. Beginning, Monday, March 4, the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington ticket office will move to the third base box office on Ballpark Way while the first base box office is undergoing construction. The box office is open weekdays beginning Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Tickets may also be purchased on texasrangers.com or by calling 972.RANGERS.
