In addition, the club has transferred infielder Logan Forsythe from the 15-day to the 60-day disabled list. Executive Vice President/General Manager Josh Byrnes made the announcement.

Erlin, 22, has made three starts for Tucson so far this season, going 2-0 with a 4.73 ERA (7 ER/13.1 IP). The southpaw was acquired by the Padres from the Texas Rangers along with right-hander Joe Wieland in exchange for right-hander Mike Adams on July, 31 2011. His first appearance will be his Major League debut.

Weber, 28, made his second stint with the Padres after being recalled from Tucson on April 20. The right-hander appeared in two games, including working a career-high 4.1 scoreless innings last night, April 23, against the Milwaukee Brewers at Petco Park. In two starts for Triple-A Tucson, he has gone 2-0 with a 0.82 ERA (1 ER/11.0 IP) and 10 strikeouts against one walk. Over parts of two Major League seasons with the Detroit Tigers (2012) and Padres (2013), he has gone 0-1 with a 4.15 ERA (6 ER/13.0 IP) in five relief appearances.

Forsythe, 26, was placed on the 15-day disabled list with right plantar fasciitis to begin the season. Over parts of two Major League seasons (2011-12) with the Padres, he has hit .254 (118-for-465) with 22 doubles, four triples, six home runs, 38 RBI and 57 runs scored in 153 games played.
