Rays, PBATS, Taylor Hooton Foundation and MLB Charities to host "Play" Program

The Rays, the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society (PBATS), the Taylor Hooton Foundation and Major League Baseball Charities will host PLAY-Promoting a Lifetime of Activity for Youth-for kids ages 7 to 17 and their parents on Saturday, May 25 at 10:30 a.m. at Tropicana Field.

The PLAY program was created to educate young people about the dangers of steroids and to promote a healthy and active lifestyle.

The Rays athletic training staff and members of the Taylor Hooton Foundation staff will conduct a hands-on clinic covering a variety of health-related topics. Rays lefthander David Price will also make an appearance. Each participant is automatically registered to win tickets to a Rays game.
