Last Chance to Enter the World Series Ring Raffle Benefiting the Giants Community Fund

Entry deadline is Sunday, June 9, 2013

The World Series Ring Raffle is coming to a close. The deadline to purchase tickets is this Sunday, June 9, 2013 at 8:59pm PT. Launched during Opening Weekend at AT&T Park, the raffle, conducted by Celebrities for Charity, offers fans the chance to win a 2012 San Francisco Giants World Series Championship Ring, identical to the rings given to Giants players and coaches.

Participants still have a chance to own a piece of history by visiting www.sfgiants.com/ringraffle. A minimum purchase of $10 is required. The winner's ring will be personalized with their last name. The winning entry will be drawn on Monday, June 10, 2013 and announced during the broadcast of the Giants vs. Pirates game on Tuesday, June 11, 2013.

Designed and produced by Tiffany & Co., the ring is crafted to pay tribute to the Giants seven World Championships as well as the unprecedented six elimination game winning streak which led to a sweep of the Detroit Tigers in the World Series. The face of the white gold championship ring features the San Francisco "SF" logo with 52 round melee diamonds. A bezel reading "World Champions" is highlighted on both the top and bottom of the ring. Seven round diamonds, on both sides, represent the seven World Championships.

Proceeds from the Ring Raffle will benefit the Giants Community Fund, a nonprofit organization that collaborates with the San Francisco Giants to use baseball as a forum to encourage underserved youth and their families to live healthy, productive lives. The Fund provides a variety of programs dedicated to addressing some of the most pressing needs of children and their families, including health, violence prevention, youth fitness and recreation, education and literacy.

Funds raised will also support the Junior Giants, the flagship program of the Giants Community Fund which offers free, non-competitive baseball for youth ages 5-18 years old in underserved communities. Serving more than 20,000 children from 196 cities across California, Nevada and Oregon, the Junior Giants program relies on volunteer coaches and community support to deliver an innovative program focused on the Four Bases of Character Development: Confidence, Integrity, Leadership and Teamwork.
