The Marlins took another high school product with their second pick of the day, selecting outfielder K.J. Woods (Ft. Mill, SC) out of Ft. Mill High School, who was a Second Team Rawlings/Perfect Game Preseason All-American. With its third pick of the day, Miami selected catcher Chad Wallach from Cal State-Fullerton.
