White Sox announce additional Draft signings and Minor League team assignments
CHICAGO – The Chicago White Sox have agreed to terms with four additional selections from the 2013 First-Year Player Draft. Tyler Shryock (12th round), Joey Wagman (17th), Charlie Sharrer (26th) and Audry Santana (38th) have agreed to minor-league contracts.
With the agreements, the White Sox have signed 31 of their 40 selections from the draft, including each of the top 12 picks.
Thirteenth-round selection Danny Hayes and Oregon State advanced in the 2013 College World Series with a victory over Indiana last night. Adam Engel, the club’s 19th-round pick out of Louisville, was eliminated from the championship tournament on Monday.
