Today's game postponed

CINCINNATI - Today’s game with the San Francisco Giants has been postponed due to the forecast of steady rain throughout the remainder of the day.

The game has not yet been rescheduled.

"Unfortunately, the breaks in the weather we expected over the next few hours don't appear to be happening for us," said Reds Chief Operating Officer Phil Castellini. "As much as we were hoping to play, we're not hopeful that we can complete a game with the current forecast. We apologize for the delay and cancellation, but we felt it was in the best interest of both teams, because of the rescheduling conflict, to wait as long as we reasonably could."

Fans should keep their tickets. Their tickets are their rain checks for the game that will be rescheduled. Rain checks also can be exchanged at face value for any Monday through Thursday 2013 regular-season home game, excluding August 6 and subject to availability. Fans should check the back of their ticket for specific instructions.

Rain checks may be exchanged at Great American Ball Park ticket windows in advance of game day only.

If fans ordered tickets online at reds.com or over the phone through Ticketmaster, they can contact Ticketmaster customer service at 1-800-745-3000 to exchange tickets.

Fans holding a ticket with no price printed or tickets with a $0.00 value can use those same tickets for the make-up game only, with no exchange necessary, whenever that may be scheduled.

Fans should indicate a first or second choice of games when mailing in their tickets. Ticket exchanges received within 7 days of the game will be left at Will Call for pickup on the day of the game. Please include name, phone number and mailing address.
