Take the train to the game for All-Star events at Citi Field

Faster, Easier and Greener Way to Citi Field; Parking Limited Due To All-Star Game Events in Citi Field Lots

Major League Baseball and the New York Mets are encouraging fans attending All-Star events at Citi Field this Sunday (Taco Bell All-Star Sunday), Monday (Gatorade Workout Day & Chevrolet Home Run Derby) and Tuesday (All-Star Game) to take mass transit - the faster, easier and greener way to Citi Field. Due to All-Star Game events taking place in the Citi Field lot, parking will be limited.

Citi Field is served by the 7 train and the Long Island Rail Road. For fans traveling from the northern suburbs, Metro North trains and the Port Authority Bus Terminal connect with the 7 train. Parking is limited due to All-Star events taking place in the Citi Field parking lots.

NYC Transit and LIRR will add more trains for All-Star events at Citi Field from Sunday thru Tuesday. NYC Transit will run increased Flushing-bound express trains on the 7 line from Manhattan and the LIRR will provide additional service on the Port Washington Line and customers can change at Woodside for trains to Citi Field. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for ballpark events. All Citi Field Gates will open at Noon EST Sunday, 5:15 p.m. ET Monday and 4:30 p.m. ET Tuesday.
