Arencibia to support summer safety campaign

Once again this summer, the Toronto Blue Jays are proud to partner with the Ontario Fire Marshal's Office and Fire Safety Council for the 3rd annual "Swing into Summer Safety" campaign, to bring awareness to fire safety. Presented by Allstate, this campaign aims to educate children and their families with safety tips through the distribution of baseball cards featuring the 2013 Blue Jays players and coaches.

On Wednesday July 24, catcher J.P. Arencibia and Blue Jays mascot ACE will be at Toronto Fire Station #133 at 1505 Lawrence Avenue West, distributing team cards that feature fire safety messages. The event runs from 11:30-1:30 pm and will include a barbecue with inflatable games for children in attendance.
