Texas Rangers announce "Pay the Day" ticket offer for three-game series with the Pittsburgh Pirates, September 9-11

Upper Reserved tickets available at discount prices for all three games

Arlington, Texas - The Texas Rangers today announced a "Pay the Day" ticket special for the upcoming interleague three-game series with the Pittsburgh Pirates, September 9-11 at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.

With the special ticket discount, fans will be able to Pay the Day for Upper Reserved tickets during the Pittsburgh series. Upper Reserved tickets are just $9.00 on Monday, September 9; $10.00 on Tuesday, September 10; and $11.00 on Wednesday, September 11. That's a savings of $8.00 - $10.00 off of the regular gate prices. 

Pay the Day tickets are available online at texasrangers.com, by calling 972-RANGERS, or at any box office location.

This will be just the third time that Pittsburgh has played in Arlington. Managed by former Rangers hitting coach Clint Hurdle, the Pirates are currently in first place in the National League Central Division with an 81-58 record, the fourth best overall mark in the major leagues. Texas and Pittsburgh will play on September 9 and 10 at 7:05 p.m. and September 11 at 1:05 p.m. 

Following the Pittsburgh series, the Rangers will host the Oakland A's on Friday, September 13 at 7:05 p.m., Saturday, September 14 at 12:05 p.m., and Sunday, September 15 at 2:05 p.m. Texas and Oakland are currently tied for the A.L. West Division lead with identical 80-59 records. Tickets for all remaining 2013 home games are available at texasrangers.com, by calling 972.RANGERS, and at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington ticket office.
